The Front Room - "Finish Him!"

So I'm running a little behind in reference to the posts which I planned to do.  I find myself spending more time with the family then doing "Man Stuff"  like house projects.

It being really cold doesn't help my motivation, and also the "blah blah blah blah lazy lazy, procrastinating bananas".   That pretty much sums it up.

So here is my first project to start working on to finish.

The Front Room.  (Also know as the Living Room, or the Main Room). The way I say it sometimes sounds like the french room, which could be awesome...

... or not.

The project is to paint the walls and ceiling. Install new floor trim.  Toy with the idea of putting that ceiling trim in before i ultimately decide to say F that noise and keep it simple.

Project Start: Summer of 2011
Current status:  50% complete
Currently I have done the following in some order.
  • Removed the Blue Carpeting to revile the nice natural hardwood flooring.
  • Painted the walls from Blue/Grey  to "Creamiscle"(a light yellow) I believe it was called.
  • Painted the accent wall a Red (I forgot the fancy name for it).
  • Painted the Ceiling White.

What needs to be completed.
  • Repaint everything for both a 2nd coat, and to cover up all the damage the children have done to the walls. Give them 1 crayon and the whole world goes to hell.)
  • Finish the edging.
  • Install the Floor Trim
  • Paint the Trim and the new door trim white.
  • Figure out what to do with the window sill. (Do I replace or just paint white as well?)
I also need to do this all with the family around.
Dead Line for the Project =   Febtober 28th.

Hall way with the drop down door to the attic.

Ember drew Windows...

I had actually torn down and completely replaced that red wall which is why there is no trim there already.

So here it is.  Got suggestions on how to make this super easy?  Didn't think so, but words of encouragement always help too.
